About Zaw Win Htun

A quiet path shaped by mindfulness, lived experience, and a bridge between traditional practice and modern understanding.

Background

My name is Zaw Win Htun. Like many people living far from home, I have navigated the depths of emotional pressure, loneliness, and inner uncertainty while maintaining the weight of everyday responsibilities.

Rather than turning away from these difficulties, I chose to meet them through sustained mindfulness practice and long-term study. This path has cultivated the clarity and emotional steadiness that I now bring to our conversations.

Practice & Intensive Study

My approach is informed by both traditional Buddhist training and contemporary psychological principles. My foundation is built on intensive periods of silence and inquiry:

  • Mahasi Meditation Center — Multiple 10-day & 45-day retreats
  • Pa-Auk Forest Monastery — 50-day intensive retreat
  • Aung Sukha Dhamma Yeiktha — 50-day intensive practice
  • Ongoing study of Psychology and Buddhist Philosophy

Education

  • University Degree (Myanmar)

Languages

  • Myanmar (Native)
  • Japanese (N3 Proficiency)
  • English (Intermediate)

My Approach

The conversations I offer are grounded in mindful awareness and compassionate listening. I provide a space free from judgment, where you are approached with respect and total privacy.

Note: This work provides supportive guidance only. It is not clinical treatment and does not replace professional mental health care.

If you feel the need for a quiet and understanding space to speak, you are warmly welcome.
